Wait, wait, wait. Camping was one of the things I always loved to do because I COULD do it with ibs. As my boyfriend used to say about my ibs on camping trips: "The world is your toilet." You can go at any time, any where. No lines. No having to ask for the key, no desperate search for a public restroom.
Not to belittle you not wanting to go in the woods... but it's really not that big a deal. You take your little shovel (they come in cute little carrying cases) and a BIG roll of TP (bring your own, never depend upon men to guess the right amount you'll need), dig a hole, squat, and bury. Seriously, this is one activity, unlike boating, rock climbing, etc., that you have total freedom when it comes to bathroom trips. Besides, if its New Years, I'm assuming there may be some drinking going on, which means everyone else will be going potty several times too. Good luck!
