Hi, Nick! Welcome! I'm sorry to hear you had such a reaction to the peppermint capsules and tea. Although I'm definitely no where near your level of professional playing, I played the clarinet and piano for many years. I've found chamomile tea to work really well for my stomach muscle pains. Chamomile tea has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effects that relax the smooth muscles lining the stomach and intestine, so you might find it helpful. I'll use two bags of chamomile in a hot cup of water and let it steep for about five minutes. Some people with a ragweed allergy may be allergic to chamomile.
