I should have told you not even bring up dieting and stuff like that because they got really ticked off at me last time I did it.
And certainly don't tell them you're taking any herbs!!! My regular M.D. literally yelled at me and told me I was trying to commit suicide by taking slippery elm.....Whoooa!!!! I switched doctors after that little incident.
I feel for you, girl. That's why they have awesome sites like this.....for the people that actually do care about IBS and want to help us. Doctor's don't care about IBS......they think it's in our heads. My doctor told me to go to the steak house and just eat a big ole' prime rib, baked potato and broccoli and don't worry about it!! I said "Are you for real???!!!"...... If there's no inflammation or ulcers, they pretty much just don't care, right?!
