If you have IBS then you cannot have any milk products at all. None. Not even if they are free of lactose, and not even if you take lactaid. Lactose is a milk sugar that is only one of the many things in milk that are hard to digest. There are other things, like casein and whey, that irritate the IBS stomach. Stay away. Switch to soy or rice milk. Have you read Heather's books and familiarized yourself with the diet? This website is meant to be a supplement and doesn't work very well as a primary source for figuring out the diet.
