Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Don't know if this is where I should post, but in searching the message boards I found this post about ovarian cyst so I'll just reply to it with my question. (Sorry if in wrong place!)
At doctor appt (Went for abdominal pain, etc. since couldn't see gastro at the time. After gastro tests, found it's from Crohn's flare) she issued a pelvic ultrasound & bloodwork. At follow-up appt, dr. said everything looks okay. But when I read the ultrasound report later it said "possible ovarian cyst". I looked it up but still not sure what it all means (good or bad) and when I called dr. to ask what it means & that dr never mentioned it, they said she did bloodwork test & that was her way to let me know not cancerous (but bloodwork done before ultrasound; not after ultrasound results known) & that I can make another appt with dr to talk about it.
My question...shouldn't I have to have a follow-up on this possible ovarian cyst to check on it or something?
I feel like I don't even want to bother going back to this dr (new dr-have only been to 4 or so times because had to switch drs recently)& just find a new one (for this and other reasons...& you can never get through on phone and when you do, the phone people seem clueless & insensitive)
