sending supplements to the UK?

Sorry, this is a little off topic.....

Does anyone have experience sending supplements (SFS- Probiotics- enzymes) to Scotland? Do I need to declare the values and are import duties charged when they are picked up?

What happens if I send directly from the vendor (such as Acacia/Heather) are there customs duties on that also?

I can only find ( through web search) a SFS that is similar to Citrucel called Celevac, is this easy to find and has anyone had success with this? Currently my daughter is taking Fibercon, so maybe switching would be good. She will be there for 6 months. I'm concerned that there is a limit to the amount that she can bring over in her suitcase.

And, is regular US Mail the best method?

thanks,
