Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

ive been having some ibs troubles and would love some opinions! ive been having infrequent BMS going as long as a day w/out anything and ive also been having regular BMs where i go maybe twice-3X a day. for the past few BMS though ive been seeing a little red and also some red when i wipe [sorry TMI!] this morning i had a BM that was the same color as sweet potatoes [which is what i had for a snack last night] but when i ate a sweet potato a few nights ago that didnt happen[?]--again, sorry too much info. i dont think im straining--it doesnt feel to that point but it hurts a little to go. i had a friend who unknowingly had u.colotis and she experienced similar BMs so im a little [???]

im eating around the times meals normally are at, and im packing tons of snacks to avoid hunger but my body has just been feeling so strained and weak and fatigued. thats also when i started noticing the strange BMS..well i made a DR APPT for 11.16 so i plan to go over all this with him. im having a complete bloodwork exam done too to see if im missing any nutrients due to my diet. but i wanted some opinions from some of the best! i also plan to take some food labels to show my doc since he might not be too familiar with some of my foods IE: acacia..etc. thanks ahead pals~
