My symptoms were pretty common. I never got the severe right quadrant sharp pain to the point where they KNEW it was my gallbladder. I was just always C, followed by terrible D attacks...then over the summer, evertyime I ate (anytime anything..didn't matter!) I would feel full, the nausea was the worst, and I had some pain in my right side... I mean, I am home sick this afternoon after a terrible D attack... it's frustrating and I am hoping this isn't the start of some chronic D, but being able to eat without nausea and pain is worth it...
and about the gallbladder itself-- even if they take it out and it looks normal- it's not functioning, which means it isn't OK! It can be affecting you more than you know. I have a family friend who NEVER could go to the bathroom withou a laxative...had her gallbladder out, and hasn't had a problem since...I'm hoping that'll be my case!!!
