Have you tried taking a couple Imodium at bedtime? It's not as strong as Lomotil, but I remember having some side effects when I took Lomotil. It's not usual for IBSers to get D during the night, but it CAN happen and if you've had all the tests then I would consider something in your diet, a supplement, or medication - especially since the attacks seem to be happening regularly. Otherwise, if just happened once in a while, I would say it's just those random, unexplainable IBS attacks. I'm wondering about the kind of SFS you're taking. Are you still taking Citrucel? Some of the inactive ingredients might be affecting you: the citric acid in the orange powder might be a problem and potassium citrate can cause loose stools. I've tried Citrucel before and found it to be too harsh for my D. I've had better luck with the powder form of Benefiber. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
