as i accidently posted twice, i am also 6 1/2 weeks pregnant...so i can somewhat empathize for you...

i'm so sorry to hear you are doing yucky

i'll say i've been somewhat lucky....i get nasious, but i'm always nasious, so thats nothing new....i've been lucky with no extra gas. but i eat so bland, that it hard to get it if you eat my diet. i stick with bland foods....however what has helped sooth my tummy is it's soy delisious icecream, cookies and cream (the bigger contgainer...it has less fat less stuff in it) and add my own peppermint extract, some soy milk and stir it up...it soothes my tummy so fast...and it's really really really been helping me. i take disyclomine 20 mg for cramping, which is pregnancy safe. but so far i've been ok. i feel like throwing up, i threw up alittle earlier this week, but so far so good..i work as a server however, so the job is do or die, so i have to go purely on any energy i have...

eating saltine crackers (i need to have the generic kind, becuase the other kinds have high fructose corn syrup, which i cant have) sprite or 7-up is suppose to help...again hfcs i can't have that....having small small meals...keep really really light. like just now i had mashed potatoes with a little margrine and a little salt and a little chicken soup broth and that was almost ok for me...i feel sick if i fill my tummy too much....

being tired is normal for our stage of pregnancy....again i'm a server, some days i am kinda blah to my tables...but it's hard to be happy when you feel like EHHHH, you know.....

last night i got d, but i didn't know why...that was really weird, but other than that it's been ok...

check out babycenter.com as well...they have alot of information for you to learn. and they send you emails on updates and whatnot that's really helpful.

HOW THE HECK CAN YOU FEEL HAPPY WHEN YOU FEEL SICK??!?! i don't get people sometimes! it's an exciting time in your life, but when you are sick and miserable..it sucksssss! that's mean that your family is even putting on a guilt trip anyone who has had kids knows that the first 3 months or so you get morning (all-day) sickness...and you feel miserable. so they are being ignorant....plus the ibs symptoms along with it?!?!? are they insane???? people ask me if i'm exiceted too...i am...but i'm tired right now....get back to me when i am rested i'll be more enthusiastic about it! i've been having horrible sleep for the last 3 or 4 nights....

tylonal is known to be fine, i took it when i was pregnant the first time, and EXTREMELY sick from a cold...and i've taken it now when i have pains. does your doctor want you to just be miserable or what? do you really like this doc? i'd check out a different one....

may i ask how old you are? when i was preganant the first time i was 18 and people treated me wayyyy different than they do now...i'm 24 now..but what people say to me and how the docs treat me are different....granted my docs are new...and my ob/gyn is actually also my G.I. which is lucky as anything!

i'm sorry to hear about this nonsense....is this your first? i promise (if you haven't been pregnant before) i'm sure you'll enjoy pregnancy later down the line...when the baby moves...and you know there is a little life in there...then it gets fun (until we feel as big as a house...then the fun is over....haha)

i hope i have helped you some...keep me updated! because i can almost understand what you are going through with emotions etc...but i hope the sickness lessens....but my doc said if you are getting sick thats a positive thing, it means you have enough (more than enough) hormones for pregnancy
