I'm sure someone else will post and object if that NOT okay, but I'm pretty sure it is. And it's GREAT for gas and bloating. I know you shouldn't have too much peppermint as it's a uterine relaxer, but I think fennel's okay. [I'm supposed to be compiling the info on IBS & pregnancy but it's so complicated and time consuming and I keep on getting confused! Kick my butt and make me do it someone. ] Also, keep eating. Graham crackers, rice, whatever SF food you can tolerate right now. Forget about set meals and just graze throughout the day. An empty tum is a classic nausea trigger so just keep eating! And I think ginger tea is okay too...that's anti-nausea and an appetite stimulant. It sounds like maybe you guys could do with some counselling. Also could you go and cry on your Mom or best friend's shoulder? Early preganancy can be horrible for some people are your hormones are all over the place and the stress of relationship issues and IBS would make anyone upset. {{{hugs}}} Oh, have you read the diet guidelines?
