I'm a bit confused on this subject matter. I only want honest oppinions here; no advertising the acacia supplements, please.
I am C dominant and have been for the past 9 months. I have tried all sorts of medications - Zelnorm, Citracel, Miralax, Milk of Magnesia, Magnesium supplements, Metamucil, peppermint tea, fennel tea (with chamomile and peppermint), Magnesium Citrate, Dulcolax, and have changed my diet from high fiber, to only fiber from fruit. The medications that I'm currently taking that have the have the least negative side effects are Milk of magnesia (4 tbs), miralax (I don't care about estimates. I overdose on this) Citracel (1 - however many scoops I fell I need), and 1 magnesium pill. All are taken at night around 10:00pm However, despite how cleared out I may be in the morning, I still suffer on a daily basis in the evenings - mostly from bloating. This brings me to the subject of acacia. Will this help me? I read a post saying that it made matters WORSE for someone. And in the past, peppermint and fennel tea helped aleviate my symptoms for the first few doses but after that only caused them to irritate my bowels and bloat me even more - often to the point where breathing became challenging. Do the effects just depend on the genetic chemistry of the person? Should I try this? Will it really help me? I can't afford risks right now due to college. But I seriously want help.
Thanks, Lynx
