call me a radical, but you should *not* be making youself sick to cook for your husband! if you stay at home and he works, i guess i can accept that you take responsibility for the cooking. but still. i do not believe that just because you're the wife you need to cook to satisfy his desires. you're cooking for *both* of you, and you need to take care of yourself. i second everyone's suggestions that you find recipes that are safe for you and good to him. but there is no reason you should be putting your health second to his tastes. i'm tempted to suggest that you tell him, 'i need to eat what won't get me sick. if you don't like it, cook for yourself,' but i know that's not the way to a healthy marriage. but neither is making yourself sick. even if you stick to cooking him things he likes that he can't eat, you need to take care of yourself and make sure there's a meal (not just nibbling at bread - you deserve a real meal!) that you can eat, enjoy, and feel good from as well.
