I don't have any real thoughts on the matter, except to point out that I've been D-predominant my entire life, and I've also been obese for most of my life. I *wish* being a D'er made me automatically thin! Conversely, I know some C'ers who are very thin.

Actually, I did find that Heather's diet made me gain weight, but now that I'm eating more moderately and trying to be more active, I've stabilized at what is normal for me.

What makes you gain weight is eating more calories than you burn, NOT one specific diet over another.
