Re: IBS, constipation and the future       09/01/05 08:24 PM Edit Reply Quote Draupadi Reged: 07/16/05 Posts: 218 Loc: Santa Cruz, California Unfortunately, I don't have a solid answer for this. There are some natural health types who say that abnormal bowel function like constipation is the root cause of all deseases, but others say that there is no proven link between IBS, or chronic constipation, and colon cancer. I am curious about this as well...I sometimes become frightened that my IBS will lead to other more serious or life-threatening conditions down the line.
