I do weight watchers as well (I'm a "lifetime member" which means I lost my weight... 45 lbs... and have kept it off... going on two years now) and the support there is key (from meetings and online). By the way it's not a "diet" in the sense that the IBS diet is: there are no prohibited foods. Period. It's more a way of keeping track of your calories eaten and calories burned, and keeping them in the right range for weight loss. I highly recommend it but not if you just want to lose a few pounds. You could form a daily support thread for IBS people losing weight, on the Weight Watcher's site (posting and reading messages is free and doesn't require that you are doing WW). I'm on a couple of those. They're VERY helpful. I'd say post one here but hte way the board works here makes it less convenient to start a daily check-in thread.
