Hi All,

I haven't had a "need" to post for awhile, and that has been a great thing. However, I just had a pretty serious attack after eating the Thai-Fried Rice recipe from EFI. this isn't the first time either (I tried two different brands, both Vietnamese and Thai). I like what the fish sauce adds, but it's not so good that I am willing to live through an attack to eat it

I did do a search on this topic because I know it kind of has before, but I didn't find the answers I was looking for. Hopefully someone can help:
1. If fish sauce is a trigger, what has been a good substitute?
2. How have you adapted Heather's recipes to live without the stuff?

Many thanks, Chigal -- Go White Sox!
