Hi all,

I really am at the end of my tether and just cant handle this anymore!! I havent yet been diagnosed with IBS but my doctor thinks thats what i have. IBS also runs in my family which makes this more likely. I am only 21, and the doc has said my symptoms shouldnt be this bad for my age. My doctor needs to do some tests to ensure its nothing more serious before giving me any medication but i dont have symptoms of Chrohns disease or any of the other possibilities.

I really am fed up though. I am taking time off work because i am so bad. I have cut out all of the trigger foods from my diet but i am still getting all the sypmtoms of IBS.Maybe my trigger foods are different as i know different people have different trigger foods? Its getting worse too. I am off work today because i am feeling sick, and i was in pain last night with stomach cramps. Whenever i eat i get the symptoms. I have had some peppermint tea which has rid the cramps - thank god!! I seem to be taking immodium constantly but the doctor has said this is okay and cant harm in any way.

Can anyone help or give me some advice? This is having me in tears. I cant wait until my tests are done

Many Thanks
Mummyd
