I can't answer the vegan question, since obviously, they AREN'T vegan if they contain dairy derivatives. But I can say that, as with anything else, you have to try them and see how they work with your individual tolerances. Some people can tolerate dairy derivatives ok in moderate amounts, which means they can eat the soy cheese and be ok with them. Other people can't tolerate them at all, which of course means they'd have to avoid the soy cheeses.

Personally, I've only found the soy parmesan edible; everything else tastes like sugary plastic to me. But I know some people on here just ADORE their soy cheese, so give it a try! Good luck!
