...I had a lot of volunteer employees, one of whom was Gert, a lovely grandmotherly lady with advice on just about everything under the sun. One day, I didn't feel so hot stomach-wise, and she advised me to go next door to the sandwich shop and get a piece of chocolate cake. "The sugar will settle your stomach - trust me!" she said.

And ya know... it works! I wouldn't recommend it if you REALLY feel sick, but I have found that a little something sweet after dinner seems to ensure a happy gut until morning. (See, I can justify anything - even dessert. )
