Buy yourself an ice cream maker, I got a new one off of an ad on craigslist, an online want ad place. Mac and I have had a blast making homemade sorbets and rice milk ice creams this summer. The current on in the freezer is vanilla cherry - vanilla rice milk ice cream base with chopped dark sweet cherries from Trader Joe's! You get what flavors you like without the fat, additives and the triggers (well, unless eating/drinking cold stuff is a trigger for you). We've made mango, peach, and lime-mint sorbet, as well as the ice cream.
Also yummy, make Heather's Chocolate Silk pudding and stick it in the freezer. Instant chocolate ice cream!
