It's high in fat but dairy free and I find I can eat more of it than I should after a high-soluble fiber meal. Months ago I compiled a list of all the recommended flavors from various posts and I listed them all here. If you don't eat soy, Rice Dream Carob Almond Chip is very good. There's even a recipe on the Recipe Board for Better Than Hershey's Chocolate Syrup is you want to really splurge. If you decide to go for real dairy ice cream, I'd suggest taking Lactaid beforehand. It won't protect you from the fat or the proteins, but it will protect you from the lactose.
