I think in my experience taking them NOT as preventatives (i.e. to STOP an attack), a few tablets at a time, really caused me to work up a tolerance and to need more. However taking one tablet every morning as a preventative (which I did do for quite some time on your advice ) really helped me get stable = not needing the immodium any more Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
