Has your GI Dr. ever check your stool for ova and parasites? The reason I ask, is that about 8 years ago I had D after eating air, jk, but after everything and it smelled so bad, I called him and he wanted me to have testing done on my stool. It came back positive for giardia, which is a parasite that lives in the intestine, that you can get from well water, spoiled turkey, etc. I have since had the flair up 3 times, while the antibiotic took care of the symptoms for about 5 years, it happened again and he told me that the antibiotics kill most of it, but some can still live in the colon and you can have flare ups, which I have twice since the initial sample test. This is just a suggestion for your Dr. I'm surprised they haven't thought of that??? I have noticed that my bodily function odor varies....i love my oatmeal, but it seems to give me hideous smelling gas, at least that's what I'm assuming it to be from. Hope this helps, I really rely a lot on Gas X softgels
