I thought it was same for gall bladder but apparently instructions have changed a little as same procedure is used for both and it does say 24 hours. What annoyed me about my procedure for the gall bladder is that I was told by doctor that I had fractured vertebrae giving me problem. When I questioned a doctor on the internet about pain killers he suggested that I return to physician and demand ultrasound of gall bladder because that is what it sounded like to him.
