You are totally right re: stewed and pureed fruit. It's divine and goes down so smoothly, easier than a raw fruit-based smoothie. I made some babyfood strawberries today--it barely takes 5 minutes and they're sitting better than the raw strawberries in the blender. I wonder if cooking the fruit makes it easier on the gut to process/assimilate without distress? I left mini-batch number one, plain. Any thoughts fellow food processor junkie? The house smells better than a candle shop. Don't laugh, but somehow I think that a carrot blended with the strawberries would be good. I saw a recipe which combined stewed peeled pear with spinach in the blender. Imagine that for breakfast with maybe some oatmeal!
