Hi everyone. I am new to the message boards but sadly not new to IBS. I've had it for years and it just seems to get worse every year. I eat a very restrictive diet and take all sorts of supplements but every day I'm still wracked with constant cramping in my right-hand side, pain, bloating, and headache. My herbalist has suggested that I take a blood test offered by Great Smokies laboratory to test for food intolerances (measured by immunoglobins in the blood or something?). I'm wondering if anyone has done this type of test and whether they found it helpful for indentifying food problems.
