Until you get on top of that, you won't get on top of your symptoms. Try taking Immodium as a daily preventative...that way you can take a lower dose per day usually. Try 1 every morning at first....if you start at a w/e you'll have 2 days before timing is crucial! Prunes are a total no-no with your symptoms. Fyi, you want to work up to at least 8g of SFS a day (3 1/2t???), maybe 12-15g a day. And yes, that's for an A like you. I'm A too and take 2T Acacia a day. It will only cause side effects or worsen your symptoms temporarily IF you increase the dose too much too fast...that's the only reason why you have to increase slowly, not b/c a low dose might be enough (it won't be significant at all).
