Post-infectious IBS       06/09/05 05:33 AM Edit Reply Quote swimboy Reged: 06/09/05 Posts: 3 I have had bloating and diarrhea for the last 5 weeks. It started after I ate some Tuna sushi. I had severe stomach pain an hour or so after eating the sushi and he diarrhea started a couple of days after eating the fish and my friend who ate the same thing also had symptoms. This week I had a stool sample which turned up no parasites or infections from the fish. My doctor says it is post infectious IBS. Does anybody know anything about this. I have had no vomitting but there has been alot of gas and bloating/distention. The gas and diarrhea are very foul smelling...this is getting old and a real pain in the ___.
