Hi all,
I seem to only post when I feel sick these days, which is a little selfish maybe, but I've been trying not to dwell on my ibs lately.
My question for you all is if you've experienced changes in your symptoms as I have. I've had ibs symptoms for 20+ years now. It used to be stomach cramps and diarrea when I had an "attack". Now for the past few years I get really queasy, like something is pinched off just below my stomach and the food can't move along. Its awful, because then I get panicked that I'll throw up - which is something i REALLY panic about. I never do though, unless I have a stomach bug. But even now it feels so convincingly awful, that I'm not so sure about my ability to digest this evening's dinner. Sometimes I just want to jump out of my own skin, I get so trapped feeling, when I'm sick like this. I feel so worried - I had to go to the hosptital for dehydration and cramps this past winter, and I always worry that it will happen again. Does anyone have similar issues? What are you doing for them? I do the standard Heather diet already so no need to suggest I cut out dairy, etc. Thanks for listening Dan
