It makes me very bloated and causes great pain---and makes my C even worse (for days!) Stay away from it! Some things that help me get things moving: canned vegetables such as spinach, turnip greens, mustard greens, or green beans. (not all of these at one time!) I hope you like veggies! I do so I don't have a problem eating these. They always help me go! Of course, don't just sit down and eat them on an empty stomach. I'd eat some soluble fiber first (like bread, rice or potatoes), then eat your canned vegetable. Also, try canned diced fruit. I buy those little mini cans of diced peaches and pears ---and eat them with my sandwich at lunch. That helps too! And whatever you do, stay away from fresh strawberries! That makes my C so much worse! I love them but I'm always in pain if I eat them. Hope you get some RELIEF soon. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
