Rescue Remedy is an herbal formula that helps with nervousness. When I get nervous, I get that feeling in my stomach like I've shown up to school and haven't done my homework. When I talk to a group of strangers, my voice can tremble, I lose my place, and my hands shake. Hand shaking/tremors are the absolute WORST for me because everybody notices!! 
The Rescue Remedy spray (there's also drops) are available at herbal and natural food shops, including Whole Foods Market (formerly Fresh Fields) in MD, DC and VA. Don't know about the rest of the country.
The Ignatia and Gelseminum are sugar disolvables available for decades in France and England, now recently gaining popularity in the US. I would pick them up in France when I went over during the summer, before I realized there were appearing at Whole Foods. They work the same way, tranquillizing the nervous system just a bit, and easing the symptoms of panic and nerves. They work instantly, which is the BEST.
