It does make my mouth very dry sometimes and blurs my vision but I am willing to put up with it. Not all people have side effects, some people have more side effects. It just depends on the person.I actually have two different ones. The regular hyoscyamine you swallow (.375mg)time release and the linginual one you put under your tongue.
