I once was on Paxil that my family doctor prescribed. However at the time I was NOT suffering from IBS. But I did come down with anxiety/depression. Paxil did not seem to work for me. One of the horrible withdrawl symptoms I experienced was eye pain. After trying Paxil and Celexa, I was put on Prozac which helped the depression. What was also desturbing me was frequent nightmares In the nightmares you're the one who is the weak one or being attacked.
See how Paxil works for you. Every medication is different and works differently for everyone. One thing I like about the internet is you can do a good search about the drug itself and find out how others have reacted to a specific drug.
