...with the IBS you can get away with alot more! I'm really naughty now and have cheesy pizza about once a month...but as long as my diet is otherwise good then I get no repurcussions. Everyone's tolerances for individual foods is different tho...a salad would still kill me!
And the subsitution not deprivation idea makes all the other times a lot easier to cope with! If I go to a pizza restaurant I'll get a pizza without cheese cos then I can get lots of yummy toppings (my homemade pizzas never really worked ). And hubby and I eat loads of great, yummy AND healthy food all the time now thanks to this diet!
Extra special treats helps too...like with me, I know I can have a small piece of dark (bitter-sweet?) chocolate without issues, but I only buy the best chocolate so that tiny piece seems like a proper treat.
Anyway, just try and be really good until you get the new, raging IBS under control. Cheating before you're at all stable really does set you back. Get it under control and then play around!
