I am taking a rather high dose of both, 4 TB. at a time, and have been taking Metamucil for years as it has always worked. The pain in my lower left side seems to have lessened with the fiber supplelment. Again I really want the acacia to work as it is so much more pleasant than metamucil but can only get it online.
