I still adhere to the diet pretty darn strictly. I'm finding that I can eat small amounts of extremely low-fat red meat (ie, venison or beef jerky) - emphasis on SMALL amounts, not even a full serving - and I've also found that I'm ok with 1 decaf soda a day. But that's really it as far as my "cheating" goes. And even then, I eat SF before I eat/drink either of those two things.
On a smaller "cheat" level, I've found that dairy derivatives such as casein don't bother me (even though full-on dairy DOES), and HFCS and MSG don't bother me either. This has been a lifesaver, as a lot of otherwise safe foods (soy cheeses, a lot of commercial breads, non-dairy creamer, low-fat canned soups & bouillon, etc) contain those.
I'm with Linz that it's important to stray from the diet in moderation ONLY when you're stable. There's definitely a huge difference between how my body reacts to a "bad" food now compared to how it reacted a year ago, when I was definitely nowhere near stable.
