You might want to change your cereal. Low sugar FF corn flakes are not acceptable for IBS. You can eat Kix, Rice or Corn Chex, Cheerios, but not corn flakes. Also, saltines are not good per Heather's recommendations. Try graham crackers instead. Also, I'm not sure, but mushrooms may be a IBS trigger.
I've had IBS for about a year now and I'm C. I finally feel like I've stabilized, but I still have my bad days. Just keep a careful eye on what you eat and how it reacts to your body, while making sure you follow the diet to a tee. It's not easy since some things that Heather says are good for you, may not agree with you. If that's the case, cross that off your list and try something else on her list.
