Hi Beth -

I have heard that birth control for some people made their triggers worse.

I was on the birth control pill for about 7 years and never had any troubles. Everyone's system is different.

Also - when my sister went on she had to try three different brands of the pill before one worked for her because she was nausea and headaches.

She doesn't have IBS and got terrible stomaches etc. So if these things occur - I would still try another brand of the pill before ruling it out as a birth control effort.
