HELPS: -Moderation in all things! -Balancing SF with IF -Meds (Buspar for anxiety, Immodium as needed for you-know-what) -Eating (and enjoying) smaller meals and healthy snacks throughout the day -Not eating for at least two hours before I go to bed -Getting plenty of rest -Getting enough fluids -Benefiber -Pasta & chopped broccoli florets (not recommended, but I can tolerate this combo very well), Luna bars, applesauce, oatmeal, beans & rice, chicken soup, soy yogurt, my low-fat cranberry-pumpkin bread -Walking -Journaling, reading, writing, listening to music -Relaxing with friends and BF -Not taking myself so seriously
HURTS: -Dairy & the rest of the triggers, plus carrageenan -Over-eating -Stress & anxiety -Not enough sleep -Being sedentary -Not taking my IBS seriously -Pity-parties
