*sigh* I haven't given up dairy yet. Infact I probably have something of it daily, I even drink full glasses on non fat milk.
Stress and hormones are deffiantly my main trigger. I'd probably control my diet more if I were more in need of dealing with stress. But as a SAHM and I go out maybe twice a week, although with Spring warming thing up here in the frozen North then I get to go out walking more.
I still often splurge on the no no foods. If I do, I do so only at home when relaxed, never on an empty tummy and usually with a tall glass of Peppermint/Fennell tea afterwards.
In the past I have gone on milk strikes and not seen a huge difference. It's the cost tho that halts it. My hubby gets 7gallons of milk free thru assistance, he refuses to buy the soy or whatever other type milk. He also hates buying fish for me instead of meat. We get free check for a local butcher where we can pack our freezer with every kind of red meat imanginable! But I do admit I feel better after a nice dinner of fish than of hamburgers or porck chops.
So HOW do you all afford this stuff???? And why do you think I din't have as many strong triggers besides ofcource stress. Honestly there are few things I can say with certainity will give me IBS.....like coffee guranteed'll do it, high fat foods like donuts or KFC. But my list is not as long as yours.....or am I in denial??
