Hey Nik, had any luck with those muffin recipes? I'm going to make roast capsicum and corn muffins for brekkie tomorrow, and am in the process of making a rum and raisin cake using processed chickpeas and rice flour as the base!! I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd be eating such strange sounding food!! But hey, thats the life of a GFer, willing to try anything, huh?
Well millet. I haven't eaten if for a while, but used to have it quite a bit last year. Had no problem with it, but usually ate it with SF veges like pumpkin and sweet potato.
And how this for coincidence. Just after I got your email describing what quinoa is, I went to the HFS to stock up on a few things, and there was quinoa on the shelf! And can you believe how much it was, $8.50 for a 500 gram packet!!!??? I think I'll stick to millet, rice and buckwheat thank you very much!!!
