One!       03/24/05 10:39 PM Edit Reply Quote Linz Reged: 09/01/03 Posts: 8242 Loc: England My well-meaning GP got me started on Fybogel before I'd even found Heather. Yucky stuff! It's digusting, is psyllium based and contains artificial sweeteners. It gave me MEGA bloat and gas, but really helped with my other symptoms. However, I couldn't take it (as it made me feel so ill) when I was having an attack so that seemed pretty silly to me. Then I found Heather, discovered why the Fybogel was making me feel so bad (whilst helping generally) and switched to Acacia, which I love. ZERO side effects for me...for a while I didn't believe it was doing anyway b/c I was so used to the side effects whenever I took the Fybogel. But it's great: really helps to keep me stable - whenever I get lax about taking it, I'm alot more prone to bad days! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
