I think pregnancy may have brought it on. I didn't have a clue I had it though and had no symptoms (it was found during a gastroscopy to test for coeliac disease). Then I had another one a month and a half ago with the colonoscopy and I got this severe pain under the left rib that wouldn't go away and it hurt to breath. The hospital put me on nexium and I haven't had another problem since although I do stay away from peppermint and I stay up and moving for at least a couple of hours after I eat. I also get the acid burps if I go to bed too soon after eating. I hope you don't have it but it's not all that bad (well it can be but it is controllable).
