I am learning to LOVE to cook! Hubby won't touch what I eat...and it is antisocial in many ways. BUT it's worth it if we feel better!
Maybe instead of going to other's houses we should have people to our place?!
I will say...I eat more IF tha I used to. And it is ok for my bod (I wonder if my prob is wheat/Gluten or IBS....). When I have no sugar, red meat, dairy, or wheat/gluten in my life...things are better for me! I can digest IF with much ease.
Ever tried olive oil on a potato with some fresh herbs (basil, pessed garlic...whatever strikes your fancy?) Or brown rice pasta with pureed soup? After a while you come to enjoy things you never would have tried...
Expensive it IS. And because we were not diagnosed medically we cannot prove we need GF food and thus iinsurance won't pay for the food.
On the up side...we learn to be creative cooks! We learn to tkae care of and respect our bodies in new ways!
I tell myself ALL THE TIME that I am healthy because I don't eat many processed foods.
