Thanks for the input. We are going to have her tested for a gluten allergy. We have yet to see a specialist as her symptoms and blood work (not sure what all they did) put her into the IBS category according to our pediatrician (great guy with a wealth of knowledge and support for IBS) She has had problems with gas since birth - no obstructions or deformations either (more tests done of course!) We will try the chamomile tea and add a bit of peppermint to it as well and see how it goes. Thanks for the quick reponses - much appreciated. She is down for a nap right now and is sleeping peacefully. We have Heather's recipe book and have been attempting to follow it for Ellie. She just eats so little and it takes a few days before she is readily accepting some of the foods. She loves her milk but will also accept soymilk - we will switch her back to soy and see if it helps any. We didn't notice much of a difference when she was on soy milk vs. dairy milk. Unfortunately, she loves celery and lettuce - trys to sneak them out of the fridge! They really cause her problems though!
