Re: Ginger tea causing abdominal cramps?       03/08/05 11:03 AM Edit Reply Quote little bear Reged: 12/22/04 Posts: 736 Loc: chicago it could be the ginger flavor that is causing you symptoms. is it plain ginger tea?? i tried drinking it plain once and couldnt handle it! it was way too spicy and made my tongue tingle. also i felt i had a "pit" in my stomach. maybe try a diff. ginger tea with some flavors but def.something mellow. im not sure of your location but PANERA BREAD has a wonderful decaf tea called Orange Ginger Mint. the orange and mint balance out the ginger making it a perfect blend. i just tried some for the first time last night and felt no pain and it even helped my food digest a little easier. if theres no panera near you..you could try searching online or even mixing teas to create a diff.flavor. hope that helps! peace -------------------- VEGAN ASHLEY~IBS/C www.myspace.com/dutchflowers Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
