I'm probably not going to be of much help, because I find that I'm ok with the HFCS - at least, the amount that's in commercial breads. So I buy Friehofer's (sp?) split-top white or whatever the really big loaf is (giant? something like that), and both of those have been fine for me - they're the only ones I've found that are completely dairy-free.

The only one I've found that has been 100% safe is J.J. Nissen "Giant" loaf, which, unfortunately, every grocery store in the area has stopped carrying, so maybe they've stopped making it. Figures, right?
