I have a friend who is perfectly healthy but won't tough the stuff. It makes her and her kids hyper!
I won't touch it either. I don't eat sweets....and that includes splenda!
You may want to try stevia. Make sure though that it doesn't have any added fiber.
Are you trying to lose weight...do you have blood sugar probs? If it isn't about either of these...you can also try brown rice syrup and molasses to sweeten things. Honey is ok if you are C as it is a natural laxative.
Acidophilus is good stuff. Good for you on using it! If it doesn't bother you...I wouldn't worry about it. If it casues problems for you...I would use a different kind in the future.
