I had to get iron shots in the behind once/week for a couple of months until it went back up. Your doctor should do a blood test to see how low it really is and then he/she will be able to recommend the best way to increase it again. There are different methods depending on how low your iron is. If you take too much iron it can cause serious problems too so I'd see your doc before trying to fix it yourself!!
